The via ferrata is open to the public, but you must use professional climbing gear (helmet, harness, via ferrata set) to climb it!
Starting March 29, climbing equipment can be rented at the new tourist information center at Marktplatz No. 3 in Neuerburg. Online reservations are recommended.
Sure-footedness and a head for heights are required. Rockfall is possible. Increased risk of slipping on the rocks when wet.
It is best to always climb with another person.

Climbing Equipment Rental:
Climbing gear can be rented at the Information Point at Marktplatz 3 in Neuerburg. Click here for online reservations. The gear is suitable for people weighing 40–120 kg. Minimum height for using the via ferrata is 1.40 m (arm reach at least 1.60 m) to ensure you can reach the footholds and handholds properly.
Difficulty levels:
The difficulty levels on the various climbing sections allow you to assess the sections and choose the appropriate route or bypass them as needed.
A - easy
B - moderately difficult
C - difficult
D - very difficult
E - extremely difficult
