Note regarding the “Castle Assault” climbing route marked on the overview map:

This section will not be ready for the opening on March 29, but it will be completed shortly thereafter.

Parking:

Not all parking spaces in Neuerburg allow for unlimited parking.

You should plan on spending several hours (approx. 4 hours) on your via ferrata tour in Neuerburg.

You can park in the parking lots marked on the overview map: at Notarsberg, on Borenweg, at the town hall, near the hospital, and on weekends at the municipal administration office (Pestalozzistraße 7) as well as at the nearby school complex.

NOTE: On May 2, 2026, the Am Notarsberg parking lot will be closed due to a motorcycle event!

Restrooms:

Various restrooms are marked on the map:

• at Neuerburg Castle
• at the rectory (former Lehnshaus), Burgfried 11 (opening hours)
• at the Town Hall, Herrenstraße 2 (opening hours)
• at the Post Agency, Marktstraße 3 (opening hours)
• as well as upon request at various restaurants and cafes.
