NOTE:The “Castle Storming” climbing route will be closed from Thursday, June 18, at 6:00 p.m. through Saturday, June 20, due to a private event on the castle grounds. The other castle route, which starts at the castle parking lot, is not affected. 

PLEASE NOTE:On June 28, the car-free cycling event “Südeifeltour” will take place in the Enz Valley between Arzfeld and Enzen. The roads between Neuerburg and Enzen will be closed to motorized traffic from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. that day. If you’d like to go climbing that day, you can park in the town’s parking lots before 10 a.m. However, you won’t be able to drive through Neuerburg again until after 6 p.m., when the roads reopen to cars. Why not combine a bike ride with a climbing break that day, or spend a few relaxing hours in Neuerburg after your climb?

Alternatively, you can park along the access roads to Neuerburg during the day and walk to the starting point of the via ferrata at the market square.
