Rundwanderweg des Naturpark Südeifel Nr. 51 Kruchten-Nusbaum

Circular trail over the heights of Kruchten, Hommerdingen and Freilingen.

Hiking trail 51 impresses with its variety. The trail leads through dense forests and natural paths as well as along gravel, field and farm tracks.

In addition to the diverse scenic impressions, you will also get to know idyllic villages such as Rohrbach, Schwarzenbruch, Kruchten and Freilingerhöhe on your hike.

You walk through an enchanting leafy forest. Tall beech trees line the path and make you feel as if you are walking under a canopy of leaves. There are always opportunities to take a break along the way. Here you can literally soak up the beauty of the landscape with all your senses.

The leafy forest gives way to a very dense coniferous forest. You walk on the pine needles as if on clouds and smell the scent of the forest.

A small stream runs alongside the path. It is not unusual to see a herd of red deer here.

The route continues to Schwarzenbruch, Kruchten and Freilingerhöhe. On a clear day, you can let your gaze wander over the villages, hills and fields from the heights. It's always worth taking a break to enjoy the view.
