On the trail of orchards, hops and Romans
The small community on the Prüm river offers all kinds of cultural, historical and scenic delights: the former Holsthum glassworks, the Roman Villa Holsthum, the Rochus Chapel, the Huwelslay limestone cliff and the hop fields, which are unique in the region.
The 7.1 km circular route is accompanied by several orchards along the way. A large number of information boards provide information about the different types of fruit. Benches with views of the Prümtal valley and refreshment stops in the village invite you to linger.
You should plan around 2.5 hours for the circular route. Sturdy footwear is required. From the village centre at Kruibeker Platz, follow the signs for "Holsthumer Rundweg".
