The road closure affects the K 58 from Zweifelscheid to Neuerburg and the L 4 from Neuerburg to Enzen. 

In the town of Sinspelt, the B50 (Hauptstraße) is open to one-way traffic from the “Bitburger Straße/Hauptstraße” intersection to the “Hauptstraße/Viandener Straße” intersection. Motorized traffic and cyclists will be sharing the road at these intersections. Traffic will be directed here by police officers.

In the affected municipalities, the following roads are fully or partially closed to motorized traffic from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. via traffic signs and/or barriers:

Zweifelscheid (K58):
K 58 behind Engelsdorf, starting at the bus shelter in the direction of Neuerburg, Dorfstraße

Neuerburg (K58 and L4):
In der Enz, Kölner Straße, Poststraße, Tränkstraße, Heidbachstraße, Herrenstraße, Gerberstraße, Weberstraße from the intersection with the Notarsberg parking lot toward Sinspelt and Bitburger Straße
Note: Due to this year’s route, which runs through Marktplatz, Herrenstraße, and Gerberstraße, there are additional closures compared to last year.

Sinspelt (L4 and B50):
Neuerburger Straße (from the junction toward Niederraden to the Wolter company), Hauptstraße (one-way), In der Gracht, and Enztalstraße

Mettendorf (L4):
Hauptstraße and Enztalstraße

Enzen (L4):
Intersection of Halsdorfer Straße and Nusbaumer Straße

Pass Permits:
Individuals who, in particularly justified individual cases, must use the closed roads to drive through in motor vehicles are requested to apply in writing for the necessary permits in a timely manner, no later than Wednesday, June 24, 2025, 4:00 p.m., from the Südeifel Municipal Association Administration, Pestalozzistr. 7, 54673 Neuerburg (info@vg-suedeifel.de).

Neuerburg:

Parking available in town until 10:00 a.m. (Am Notarsberg, Lidl, Rewe, Aldi).
After 10:00 a.m., parking is available along access roads, at the parking lot before the town entrance coming from Krautscheid, on the L 10 coming from Karlshausen,
on the K 59 coming from Ammeldingen, and at the parking lot by the swimming pool

Sinspelt:

Parking for passengers at the town exit, toward Neuerburg, along the B 50, toward Bitburg, along the B 50, toward Vianden
 

Mettendorf:

Along the access roads from the direction of Nusbaum (L 3), Hüttingen near Lahr (L 8), Niehl, Burg 

Enzen:

Along the access roads and meadows in the municipality of Enzen.
