Both nature and culture are not neglected on this tour. The sound of rippling water and birdsong accompany you at the start of the hike through the beautiful floodplain landscape of the Gaybach valley.

A good part of the route is characterized by the Kammerwald forest. Here, the route takes you steeply downhill and uphill, sometimes on narrow paths, then again on wide forest trails.

After many impressions of nature, you will come across the architectural highlights of this hike right on the border with Luxembourg: the Johanniterkirche church in the municipality of Roth a. d. Our and the impressive Roth Castle, a privately owned former Knights' Commandery.

From here, your hike is again characterized by field and meadow paths with gentle ups and downs until you return to Körperich.

There are also opportunities to stop for refreshments, for example at the "Im Goldenen Grund" restaurant or the "Genusswerk".
