Starting at the village hall in Plascheid, turn right down the valley into the forest.

You soon cross the valley of the "Grimbach".

On the way, there is an ascent towards Plascheider-Berg, but it is worth it, because once you reach the top, you follow a beautiful panoramic path with views of the church, the castle and the town of Neuerburg.

Tip: The circular hiking trail R4 can be combined with the circular trails R1 to R7! This circular trail can also be started at the swimming pool parking lot in Neuerburg (hiking trail sign available).
