This short tour on the circular hiking trail no. 83 of the Southern Eifel Nature Park between Gentingen and Seimerich takes us over the heights of the Apfelberg and Egtberg.

The trail is characterized by an open landscape with beautiful views - undisturbed by any civilization except for the village of Gentingen.

Along the way, there are great views of orchards and broom heaths around the Äpfelberg. You can even see Vianden Castle in Luxembourg in the forest in the distance.

You return to Gentingen through a lovely meadow valley.
